Has social media changed dating?

Social media has definitely changed dating. People can meet and interact with people from all over the United States and even the world. My dilemma is once you begin online dating and find a mate can you ever trust that they have given up there online search? Often times it appears the thrill of meeting new people often leads to people to continue these social interactions. Are these continued communications cheating? Or may lead to cheating?

I have had a couple of relationships that started online and then moved to 'real life'. I find that at some point you have to trust that that person is being honest. Usually you can figure out who is really in it to be in it and who is just playing. But on your question of cheating, I personally believe that if those interactions have the vibe of being romantic then yes its cheating or has the potential to do so. If you find out about continued interactions, it is up to you to decide if you want to continue the relationship.
