There are several different types of insomnia which range from chronic insomnia, which is indicative of a lengthier term sleep problem, and acute insomnia, which is commonly a shorter-term, stress-related condition. Insomnia is usually triggered within a very stressful time in ones life and can easily turn in to a continual cycle of sleep deficiency. What usually happens would it be disrupts the normal pattern of sleep, and definately will require great effort for the behalf from the now insomniac to revert to a normal sleeping pattern.
