Hip Hop is not just music . It's poetry. I'm a huge Common fan, inspired by his words, touched by his story, admirer of his character. After going through a time of my life where I felt I was only judged for something that wasn't true, I heard the song misunderstood. That song touched me so much that I got the word tattooed. Common since then has been that one artist I connect with more than anyone.

Just read your bio and I completely agree, that hip-hop is not just music. It's so much more, it is a reflection of the lives of people who live it, who admire it, and who have been touched by it.
