The title is "LUV," all capital letters, no periods. It's not an abbreviation; it doesn't stand for something else. And that's appropriate: The film is about something big and powerful, very much like love, but not quite - at least, not ideal love.
To those in Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's inner circle, the Kimye baby news wasn't exactly a shocker. The dad-to-be's pal Common tells E! News he's "not surprised" at all about Kim's pregnancy.
In LUV, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival a year ago and comes out in theaters Jan. 18, Common plays a man both tough and tender.
